The Lighthouse Movement was launched in 1999 by the Mission America Coalition to help mobilize the church to pray for, care for and share Jesus Christ with every person in America. We are participating by motivating individuals to pray for, care for and share Jesus Christ with every person in the Greater Rochester Area beginning in your neighborhood, workplace and community.
Loving Our Communities to Christ (LC2C) grew out of the Lighthouse Movement and city reaching efforts of the Mission America Coalition. LC2C emphasizes not only city by city transformation but also encourages every follower of Jesus Christ to become a light in their own community.
To truly see the transformation of our nation as demonstrated through LC2C, individual Christians must be praying for, caring for and sharing Jesus Christ with their neighbors, friends, family members and co-workers who don’t know Him. As lighthouses, Christians throughout the nation are living out their personal faith and sharing Jesus Christ in word and deed with those around them.

We will continue to post resources and messages of encouragement to help equip you to focus on discipleship as you become a Light to those in your sphere of influence. In order for us to keep you informed and to best receive tools to help you grow in this lifestyle, we ask that you sign up to receive updates and let us know how you plan to implement this lifestyle, as well as receive from you short testimonials of encouragement we can share with others to document how God is using you in new and exciting ways. We encourage you to also share the exciting results you will see with your GroupLink groups and among family and friends as you see changes in lives as a result of implementing this Prayer-Care-Share Lifestyle one day at a time.
